HOUSER, Commissioner.
This is an action upon a written contract to pay for professional services as an architect. Joe G. Harms, hereinafter “Architect,” filed a petition against James Simkin setting up a written contract to pay $6,500 for architectural services in connection with the remodeling and reconstruction of certain buildings on Euclid Avenue in St. Louis. Simkin’s answer admitted the execution and terms of the contract but denied that Architect performed the services according to its terms.
