United States v. William G. Curtis and Jamell L. Rouson
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
DIANE P. WOOD, Circuit Judge.
Jamell Rouson and William Curtis were convicted on various counts related to their participation in a major drug conspiracy in Gary, Indiana, in the course of which two people were murdered. They now appeal from their convictions, claiming among other things that the evidence is insufficient to support the verdict and that it is impermissible for the government to rely on a single drug trafficking offense to support convictions under 18 U.S.C. § 924(j)(l) on two separate counts (one for each victim). Finding no error, we affirm.
