This is an appeal from an order denying defendant’s motion for a new trial, in an action brought by plaintiff to recover on a benefit certificate of membership of her deceased husband, issued by defendant corporation. Defendant is one of the many fraternal mutual beneficial associations existing in this country which pay benefits to the beneficiaries named in the certificate of membership, upon the death of a member, in such amount as may be set forth in the certificate.
