Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Schenectady County (Taub, J.H.O.), entered October 19, 2011, which, among other things, dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, for an order of visitation.

Petitioner (hereinafter the father) and respondent Latasha *1210SS. (hereinafter the mother) are the parents of a child born in September 2008.
