In a six-count Fourth Amended Complaint filed in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, appellant sued two insurance companies (Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies and The American Insurance Company), a corporate insurance broker (Commercial Lines Corporation), and an officer of the broker (Joseph Muehleisen). The gravamen of the complaint is that the defendants, directly or vicariously through their agents, represented that they would deliver to appellant a three-year policy of property and liability insurance at an annual premium payable in periodic installments but…
