State Ex Rel. Wilkinson v. Central Surety & Insurance

This was an indemnity suit brought by plaintiff, M.S. Wilkinson, against defendant, Central Surety and Insurance Corporation. The parties will be referred to herein as plaintiff and defendant. From a judgment for plaintiff, defendant appeals.

Defendant was surety on the official bond of Manning, who was a notary public. Plaintiff sold certain personal property to Dreisbach, in settlement of outstanding unpaid checks and accounts due from plaintiff to Dreisbach.
