This suit was commenced in the District Court of the United States for Ramsey county, Minnesota, by Dousman, to recover of Stinson four hundred and eighty-one and sixteen one-hundredths dollars, as the rent of a parcel of-land in the city of St. Paul, under a Written contract, executed in February, 1854, by those persons.
