This appeal grows out of the stormy proceedings surrounding the dissolution of the marriage of the parties and the subsequent efforts of the circuit court of Douglas County to effect some sort of an agathokakological balance in the disposition of their property. Another aspect of the problems is currently pending before this court in Miller v. Miller (General No. 16029) and is yet to be decided.

The instant case involves an order of the trial court which held the respondent husband in indirect civil contempt for failure to make required maintenance payments and also in indirect criminal…
