The Estate of May Manchester (the estate) appeals from the Superior Court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the Rhode Island Department of Human Services (DHS). This case came before the Supreme Court for oral argument on April 30, 2013, pursuant to an order directing the parties to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided.
