This suit results from an intersectional automobile collision at the corner of Carrollton Avenue and Banks Street at about 6 o'clock in the evening of December 29, 1942. Banks Street has two driveways each 28 feet in width, separated by a neutral ground 8 1/2 feet in width. Carrollton Avenue, one of the larger thoroughfares of New Orleans, also has two driveways, each 36 feet wide, separated by a neutral ground 38 feet in width. At this corner there is a traffic semaphore signal for the purpose of controlling vehicular traffic. Defendant's truck, driven by its employee, Jones, was on its way…
