OPINION

WILKINSON, Chief Judge:

This appeal requires us to examine the district court’s award of attorney’s fees in a mixed-motive employment discrimination case. Appellee Theresa L. Sheppard prevailed in a mixed-motive claim against appellant Riverview Nursing Center (“River-view”), but Riverview established that it would have reached the same decision even absent any discrimination.
