A tenured teacher, whose position was abolished due to a system wide reduction in force, filed this action due to the School District’s failure to afford her preferential consideration for reemployment pursuant to the Teacher Tenure Act, Tenn.Code Ann. § 49 — 5—511 (b) (3).
