delivered the opinion of the court;

Following a bench trial the defendant, Robert Maddox, was convicted of possession of more than 30 grams of a substance containing heroin, a Class 1 felony. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 5&í, par. 1402(a)(1).) He was sentenced to 6 years’ imprisonment. The sole issue raised on appeal is whether defendant’s motion to suppress evidence should have been granted because the search of his home which uncovered the heroin was unreasonable in duration and scope.

We affirm.
