OPINION

KELLEHER, Justice.

This is an appeal from an order granting a motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction over the person brought under Rule 12(b)(2) of the Superior Court Rules of Civil Procedure. The plaintiffs, who are seeking damages for breach of contract and warranties, false representation, and fraud and deceit, are a Rhode Island corporation and a Rhode Island resident. The defendants are a California corporation and a California resident.
