LARSON, Justice.
Michael Moore pled guilty to using a stolen credit card in violation of Iowa Code section 715A.6 (1999), and he was sentenced to a prison term not to exceed five years. He appealed, contending the court failed to follow the guilty-plea requirements of Iowa Rule of Criminal Procedure 8(2)(b) (requiring court to personally address defendant to determine the plea is knowing and voluntary and supported by the facts).
