GASCH, District Judge.
This matter is before this Court for consideration of plaintiffs’ motion to certify this action as a class action pursuant to the Order of remand from the Court of Appeals dated February 12, 1974.1
*690I. BACKGROUND.
This action is brought pursuant to Section 717 of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., as amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, Pub.L. 92-261, 86 Stat. 103.
