This procéeding was instituted in the Surrogate’s Court for the probate of the last will and testament of Wil liam Lampson, who died on February 14th, 1897, in the village of Le Roy, in this state. His will had been executed on December 21st, 1896, and by its provisions all of his real and personal estate, which amounted to nearly $500,000, in value,, was given to Yale College, excepting a few gifts of the value of about $30,000.
