The following statement of the nature and result of the suit is adopted from appellees' brief:

"This suit was filed in the justice court of precinct No. 1, Wilbarger county, Tex., by appellant W. H. Frith, on the 16th day of October, A.D. 1913, appellant alleging that he was the landlord of J. H. Wright and that appellee J. H. Wright was indebted to him in the sum of $27.03 for groceries and $7.50 for coal furnished to appellee during the year 1913; that said supplies were necessary in order that appellee Wright might be enabled to make a crop on land which he had rented from appellant; and…
