Cross appeals from an order of the Supreme Court (Muller, J.), entered September 17, 2013 in Essex County, which, among other things, granted a motion by defendant William Smith for summary judgment dismissing the complaint against him and denied a motion by defendants Margaret Balassone and Adirondack Medical Center for summary judgment dismissing the complaint against them.
