The respondent was convicted upon an information charging that on the 23d day of March, 1908, she—

“Feloniously, unlawfully, and wilfully did set fire to and burn certain buildings, to wit, one frame dwelling house on section twenty-three (23), one frame barn on section twenty-three (23), one frame building on section twenty-three (23), all in said township of Palmyra, said buildings then and at the time of the committing of the felony aforesaid, being insured against loss or damage by fire by the Farmers’ Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Lenawee county, with intent then and thereby to injure…
