FITZPATRICK, District Judge.

Pending before the court is a motion by the plaintiff to amend his complaint in this employment discrimination action to request all remedies available under the Civil Rights Act of 1991, Pub.L. No. 102-166, 105 Stat. 1071 (hereinafter “the Act”). More specifically, the plaintiff wishes to reinstate his claim under 42 U.S.C. § 1981, deleted from the original complaint, and seek all possible remedies under the amended Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq., including compensatory and punitive damages and a jury trial.
