delivered the opinion of the court:

This writ of error is brought to review a judgment of the circuit court of Cook county confirming an award by the Industrial Board against the plaintiff in error of compensation for the death of Louis Bockstahler, who was killed on December 28, 1915, in a collision of two cars of the plaintiff in error on its railway near Crete, Illinois. He was at the time, and had been for several years, employed by the plaintiff in error as a motorman.
