GARDNER, Chief Judge.
These were actions brought by appellants against appellee to recover damages for alleged slander and libel. They were consolidated for trial and are presented here on a single record. The amended complaints on which the actions were tried were substantially identical except for the names of the plaintiffs. The complaints alleged two causes of action. They alleged that both plaintiffs were employed by the defendant as inspectors of parts known as A-2 Artillery fuse body; that the defendant maliciously and falsely accused them of the crime of sabotage and accused them of…
