Plaintiffs, residents of Ohio and Kentucky who live near a chemical manufacturing plant in Haverville, Ohio, (the Haverville Plant), bring this diversity action based on six theories of liability: negligence, nuisance, trespass, fraud, strict liability, and intentional infliction of injury. (Doc. 1). Plaintiffs allege that defendants are responsible for injuries to plaintiffs’ persons and properties as a result of the migration of toxic chemicals from the Haverville Plant.
