Appellee sought a recovery of damages in the sum of $60,000, against appellant, alleged to have accrued to her through the slanderous language of appel lant in accusing her of the theft of money and inducing his brother, Arthur Vogt, to break off his engagement to marry her. The cause was submitted to a jury on special issues, and on the answers thereto judgment was rendered in favor of appellee for $3,000 actual and $1,000 exemplary damages.
