At issue is a judgment of $10,000 awarded Lillie S. Thompson, plaintiff, against National Cab Company, Incorporated, defendant, for an injury to her left thumb sustained in a taxicab accident.
On May 8, 1964, in Richmond, plaintiff, after alighting from defendant’s taxi, and incident to the closing of the door, got her left thumb caught in the door of the cab and sustained the injury of which she complains.
