The defendant, Ezra Benjamin, appeals from the judgments of conviction as to two informations, which were consolidated for a jury trial. As to one information, involving the victim D, 1 the defendant was convicted of assault in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-60 (a) (1), unlawful restraint in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-95 and assault in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-61 (a) (l). 2 As to the other information, involving the victim C, the defendant was convicted of sexual assault in the first…
