ORR, Senior Judge:

Contrary to his pleas before a special court-martial composed of officer members, the appellant was convicted of three specifications of forgery and two specifications of stealing mail matter in violation, respectively, of Articles 134 and 123, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 923, 924. He was sentenced to confinement for 3 months, forfeiture of $200.00 pay per month for 3 months, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a bad-conduct discharge.
