The defendant, R. A. Adams, indicted for the murder of Henry Jaques, was convicted and sentenced to death. A motion for a new trial was made in the Circuit Court and refused. On his appeal to the Supreme Court said judgment was affirmed and the case remanded to the Circuit Court, “for the purpose of having a new day assigned for the execution of the sentence heretofore imposed.” State v. Adams, 68 S. C., 421, 429, 47 S. E., 676.
