Plaintiff below, Andrew Hilliard, took passage on defendant’s railway on June 19, 1911, at the town of Avant, for the purpose of going to Pawhuska. He had with 'him some children and his'personal baggage. In a few minutes after boarding the train, and within about a half mile from where he boarded it, and while he was in the act of paying the conductor his fare, the coach in which he was riding fell through a bridge into the waters of Turkey creek.
