Petitioner, a probation officer of the Domestic Relations Court of the City of New York, was removed after a hearing upon charges, including bribery and rendering false reports. This proceeding was brought pursuant to article 78 of the Civil Practice Act to review the determination of respondent. In accordance with the Civil Practice Act the case was removed to the Appellate Division in the first instance. (§ 1296.)
