CROSS, Judge.

This is an appeal from the judgment of the Circuit Court of Cole County affirming orders issued by the Public Service Commission in its Case No. 14,399, directing the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company to-furnish telephone service in an area, located) in Madison County, known as the “Three Mile Strip”. The case originated upon the petition of residents of the area requesting that they be afforded telephone service by Bell.
