WELSH, District Judge.
Plaintiff recovered herein a default judgment against defendant for $24,760.00 principal, and $10,240.79 interest. Its complaint was based on ownership of certain interest-bearing bonds of said defendant, hereinafter referred to as the “District.”
Subsequent to said judgment, the Board of Supervisors of Lassen County passed a resolution to the effect that the sum of $43,542.16 was necessary to be raised by assessment to pay said judgment, and the County Assessor was ordered forthwith to prepare an assessment roll of said District.
