MARING, Justice.

[¶ 1] Dale Gress appealed from a district court order denying his motion to *568withdraw his guilty plea. In State v. Gress, 2011 ND 193, 803 N.W.2d 607, we held we could not properly review the court’s order because the court failed to provide any explanation for its decision, and we remanded for an explanation of the basis for the court’s decision. After remand, we received a response from the district court explaining the basis for its decision. We reverse the court’s order and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
