UNDERHILL, District Judge.

Charles H. Adair (“Adair”) sued Pfizer, Inc., claiming breach of an alleged consulting contract between the parties, as well as claims premised on theories of promissory estoppel and negligent misrepresentation. Adair alleges that Pfizer eliminated his job responsibilities, effectively terminating his relationship with Pfizer, and failed to comply with the notice and termination payment provisions of the alleged contract.
