FLAUM, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction following a jury trial in which the defendant was found guilty of using extortionate means to collect an extension of credit in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 894 (1982). The defendant argues that there was insufficient evidence produced at trial to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he used or encouraged others to use extortionate means to collect credit.
