PRICE, Judge.

This is an appeal from the judgment of the trial court declaring plaintiff, Omega Godwin Eddy, the putative wife of Harold C. Eddy and confirming the legitimacy of the children born of their union.

The validity of the marriage of these parties was raised by Harold Eddy in his defense of a proceeding for a separation from bed and board and a rule for custody and child support sought by Omega Eddy. In her original petition filed December 26, 1968, Mrs. Eddy alleged she was married to the defendant on December 16, 1950, in Taylor, Arkansas. In his answer and re-conventional demand…
