The subject matter of these appeals is the practice of transferring certain serious juvenile offenders out of the juvenile division for criminal prosecution in district court. NRS 62.0801 authorizes the juvenile court to certify2 for adult criminal proceedings 16 and 17 year old juveniles chargeable with felony offenses.
