Appellant was convicted of the offense of bribery of a public servant in violation of § 13A-10-61, Code of Alabama (1975), and sentenced as a habitual offender to 30 years' imprisonment. From said conviction and sentence, this appeal follows. For the reasons outlined below, the conviction is reversed and the case remanded.
