In re the Welfare of A.G.
Court of Appeals of Washington
1Opinion of the Court
*843fl The termination of parental rights must be based, in part, on an explicit or implicit finding of current parental unfitness. In re Welfare of A.B., 168 Wn.2d 908, 920, 232 P.3d 1104 (2010). If the finding is not explicit, the court may imply the finding if the record clearly shows that the trial court found the parent currently unfit to parent. Id. at 921. We will not imply that necessary finding based on this record. We therefore reverse the trial court’s order and remand for further proceedings.
