BAUM, Chief Judge:

Appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members. Six offenses were referred to trial. Of those six, one specification of disrespect to a superior commissioned officer in violation of Article 89, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), was withdrawn by the convening authority after trial commenced. Two assault specifications under Article 128, UCMJ, elicited guilty pleas, which resulted in guilty findings for both of these specifications.
