Appellees Mrs. J. F. Radford and husband, J. F. Radford, sued appellant, Automobile Underwriters of America, alleging that on April 7, 1923, she was the owner of an R. V. Knight automobile, that on that date, in consideration of premium duly paid, appellant issued to her its policy numbered 132734, insuring her against direct loss or damage to the body, machinery, and equipment of said automobile caused by fire arising from any cause whatsoever, from April 7, 1923, to April 7, 1924, in the amount of $2,400.
