EVANS, Justice.

This is a suit on two promissory notes. The makers of the notes appeal from an instructed verdict.

Appellee, Angleton Bank of Commerce, brought this suit to recover on a $44,000.00 promissory note executed by Roger Hoss, individually, and on a $60,000.00 note executed by Hoss and Sea Hoss Marine Enterprises, Inc. Hoss denied liability on the $44,000.00 note, asserting that he had signed a note in blank and that it had been completed without his authorization.
