This is an appeal by the city of Boston from a decision of a judge of the Land Court vacating a final decree which foreclosed all rights of redemption in the properties in question. 2 The city also claims error in the denial of its “motion to discharge” the lis pendens recorded in the Suffolk registry of deeds by Vincent Realty Corporation (Vincent Realty). We transferred this case from the Appeals Court on our own motion.
