Plaintiff sued in replevin to recover possession of two so-called “Gold Debentures” of the par value of $1000 each, numbered respectively M-6064 and M-10140, botb dated April 1, 1929, and due April 1, 1944, being a part of a thirty-million, dollar issue put forth by the “International Hydro-Electric System of Massachusetts;” each of the securities involved in this suit has attached thereto twenty-nine semi-annual six per cent interest coupons, numbered consecutively from 2 to 30 both inclusive, maturing on the first days of April and October of each year from April 1, 1931, to April 1, 1944,…
