This case is before us on remand from our Supreme Court. The defendant, Paul Ovechka, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of assault in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-60 (a) (2). In State v. Ovechka, 292 Conn. 533, 549, 975 A.2d (2009), the Supreme Court reversed this court’s decision in State v. Ovechka, 99 Conn. App. 679, 915 A.2d 926 (2007), and remanded the case with direction to consider the remaining claims of the defendant on appeal.
