DECISION AND JOURNAL ENTRY

This cause was heard upon the record in the trial court. Each error assigned has been reviewed and the following disposition is made:

John Paul Dalton, defendant-appellant, has appealed from the judgment entered against him in the Lorain County Court of Common Pleas ("Common Pleas Court"). Default and summary judgments were granted against Dalton on September 9, 1997, and a preliminary judgment entry was journalized on that date. On October 1, 1997, the court adopted the comprehensive judgment entry drafted by the plaintiff's attorney as its final order in the case.…
