Reversing.
Richard D. Bakrow brought this suit to recover on a note for $14,412.64, dated January 8, 1909, due one year after date, executed by George H. Holzbog and H. M. Flexner to John M. Sharp, and assigned by Sharp to Bakrow. The defendants in their answer set up in substance that the note was executed in settlement o£ certain bets and wagers which were lost by George Holzbog to John M.
