Assumpsit on two policies of fire insurance, submitted on report.
On the night of the conflagration of July 4, 1866, at Portland, the plaintiff, apprehensive that the building known as Ware’s block, on the northerly side of Federal Street, the third-story of which was occupied by him for the manufacture of brushes, Avould be .destroyed by fire, removed his stock, consisting of bristles and manufactured brushes, and his tools from the building.
