Decatur’s Best Taxi Service, Inc. and Gerald Haynes appeal from a jury verdict rendered in favor of appellee James Smith for injuries that Smith sustained after being struck by a taxicab driven by Haynes, an employee of Decatur’s Best. Decatur’s Best contends that the trial court erred in failing to grant a directed verdict in its favor on the issue of respondeat superior.
